There's something really compelling about watching other people reacting to things--I guess you can say it's almost overdone on YouTube, but you know what? I like it.
Lately I've been watching a lot of other YouTubers and observing what about their content I like the most. I just love watching people experiencing new things and the feeling of going on that journey with them vicariously. So I decided to try it in my own reviews.
I found that if I wanted to be able to express my thoughts freely, I really can't draw at the same time. It's actually kind of crazy how much set up needs to happen for that to be possible! I settled on doing drawings in post if they're actually needed. If not, I'd rather have a cleaner edit. I didn't feel that drawings were necessary for this review, but we'll see about the next!
In any case, I think this would have been such a great contender for me if I was going into music school--though I won't lie, I think it has a lot to do with the rose gold riser. Apparently I'm a rose gold player, not just a gold player. I find I get the most range of tone colours on rose gold, but then again, that might just be me. I've been suspecting that getting a large range of tone colours might be 50% dependent on the player, so it would be fun to do a collaboration review some day. We'll see!
