I tagged a tiny version of this episode at the end of my "Time Management" video but quickly realized that it could be a great stand-alone series! You guys all know how much I suck at replying to comments, so why not just reply them in videos?
I'll be answering any comments that stick out to me, so be sure to comment around on my social media! You might end up in a future episode. ;)
And yeah. I'm only Level 9 in League of Legends. LOL.
Huge thanks to Meze for sending me a pair of these amazing (lol, spoilers) earphones to test out. They've become a purse staple!!
I'll be honest and say that I was trying my best not to be impressed with these, but once I started listening with them on, WOW, they blew me away. I could hear things I never heard before, and my giant headphones couldn't even compare! It's now easier for me to edit videos, play in my worship band, and teach my Skype students!
If you guys have been looking for a pair of amazing earphones around the price range of $100, save yourself a bunch of money and use my discount code "FLUTIST20" to get the Meze 11 Deco earphones for 20% off!
Thank you, Meze! I LOVE THEM!
I'm back guys! It's been just over two months, and a lot has happened...
I decided to talk about health things in this video because I just recovered from a mild case of iron deficiency. Even as a mild case, it was enough to make me much less productive. I am on a very restrictive diet with my boyfriend. On the plus side, the diet is helping him slowly heal from severe eczema, but on the other side... I ended up making myself iron deficient because I cut out all citrus (huge source of Vitamin C, essential for your body to absorb iron) and red meats (huge source of iron). As a woman, I need to eat foods with more iron because I lose so much each month during my period. I think my case of iron deficiency not only made me tired, but actually made me more susceptible to sickness. Since I started this diet with my boyfriend 6 months ago, I've been sick twice--once for an entire month, and this time for 2 weeks. I usually almost never get sick!
So I encourage you all, especially you ladies, to look into the essential vitamins and nutrients that your body needs! You really can't function properly without it all. I'm now taking a multivitamin a day (just a normal Centrum for Adults--because Costco sells it...) and supplementing my diet with extra red meat this week to help my body recover its iron stores, and goodness me, I recovered fast! I have so much more energy and my creative juices are flowing again!
If you're not sure what you may be lacking, go see a doctor! You may even opt for a blood test to give you more accurate results.
On to the next story... my poor little Macbook is finally dying. I didn't have a second backup of my data because all my data already didn't fit on my Macbook and was actually on two external hard drives. So you can imagine how freaked out I was when the screen started to black out every now and then... I got a notification to "service the battery"... the keyboard wouldn't respond all the time... applications would crash regularly...
I told my boyfriend, and he immediately started shopping for computer parts for me. He had been telling me for over a year that he wanted to build me a computer, with all the parts that would make it a beast to work on. And, of course, an extra bonus would be that I could finally play PC games with him!
I honestly don't know what I would have done without him. I am pretty overwhelmed. He even told me that he hopes that I don't see this gesture as him flinging money at me; this is his way of genuinely showing his love for me. He doesn't like to be in the limelight, but he really deeply cares for me and my little YouTube channel and loves supporting me from being the scenes.
So here I am, I'm working my ass off on this beast right now. I'm going to make this worth every penny.
Thank you, my love.
