To be really honest, I am listening to this video again while I'm typing this blog post because there's a large part of me that feels like I could have said SO MUCH MORE about this topic than what I've already said here.
That being said, I know the video probably would have gone way over half an hour or more.
I realized I didn't specifically say what about Baroque music makes it stylistically different from Romantic French flute composer music. I'm starting to think that's part of my "teacher brain" kicking in. I want to pique your interest regarding musical styles and let you explore on your own, in your own time and on your own terms.
Basically, I'm trying to get you to productively procrastinate.
I'm not sure if it came across exactly the way I wanted in the video, but I guess that's all part of the YouTube journey. The important part is to keep making content that I think is interesting and helpful to you guys, and even if a few videos don't live completely up to my standards, I need to just keep putting it out there. :) Hope it was insightful for you guys anyway!
