So this week, I came down with a minor sinus... inflammation? Infection? Virus? I'm not even sure because it's already passing. XD While I never got sick enough to have to stay in bed all day, it was bad enough that just teaching a few hours a day was enough to wind me. I started feeling much better by Thursday, so--you guessed it--this suddenly became another of those "last minute" videos. At the very least, I'm so glad that I had already started editing the footage last week when I hadn't yet realized that this piccolo series was going to include more videos than I had anticipated!
There's surprisingly a lot to cover when it comes to ordering a new instrument, and to be completely honest, I couldn't cover 100% of the process in this video. A lot of the tiny details of shipping (it really does depend on how your local postal deliverers tend to behave) might differ depending on where you live, but generally what I describe in this video is how it works!
I know that including the section of me actually writing the cheque might seem pretty boring to a lot of people, but I'm keeping in mind that I have a lot of young 'uns watching. ;) I know some of you are reading this too! I gotchu. I remember that even at a young age, I was curious about how "grown-up" things worked. Maybe I included that section for my younger self? In any case, I hope it's informative for someone out there. :)
Let me know if you guys have any more questions about the ordering and shipment process! ^_^
