The only thing that always kinda gets me, though, is that the video never really ends up being about what I started talking about. At first, I wanted to talk about how my students feel that they swing back and forth when they learn new skills (i.e. they go too far and end up having to pull back, but then they pull back too much and have to push forward again)... but then I ended up going on this passionate rant about how my students think they're bad when they're really not!
Lessons have gotten so much better after I've figured out that I need to be explicit with the how's and why's of what I'm teaching. Have you experienced something similar? Let me know! :)
